Enchanted Dockyard – October Half Term!

October 19 @ 10:00 am - October 26 @ 6:00 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating indefinitely

All new for 2019 … Join us as we peel back the ancient ivy and disappear into the magical world of the Enchanted Dockyard this October half term. A mystical garden and seasonal crafts await inside the No.1 Smithery gallery. You’ll be tasked with making your own magic wands and origami butterflies, plus you’ll be able to carve pumpkins and make your own goo-ey slime before entering the Enchanted Garden. You’ll be invited to ‘charge’ your magic wand and creep quietly through the secret door into the mysterious world of the dockyard’s fairies and mystical creatures. A feast for the senses – see, hear, smell and feel as you explore the garden, wander around the koi pond and peek into the fairy village before gathering on toad stalls under the trees for story time. Follow the plight of the lost ship Phoenix as our digital storybook comes to life on the big screen. Led by narrator Little Victory, can you help Neewollah the Wizard and his band of fireflies guide the Phoenix safely home through the storm? We’d love you to come dressed in your own magical and mystical outfits to really be part of the story. -This immersive experience will take approximately 1 hour. -Access to the Enchanted Dockyard is included in an entry ticket but a timeslot must be booked upon arrival. -The Enchanted Dockyard is an undercover, all-weather experience. -Please note the Enchanted Garden will be lit with fairy lights so it may be darker than usual. -There will be no strobe lighting. -The experience is wheelchair friendly and a buggy park will be available. https://www.facebook.com/events/669770360173368/
