At GoMunkee, our visitors’ privacy is paramount. This privacy policy sets out how GoMunkee uses and protects any information that you give us when you use any of our channels. These include the GoMunkee web app, social media pages, blog or any future digital services or channels, as they evolve. To better protect your privacy, GoMunkee provides this notice explaining our online information practices and the way your information is collected and used. The information we collect
This notice applies to all personal information collected or submitted on the GoMunkee web app from adults registering on behalf of their children. To benefit from and save time using the features on GoMunkee, you have the option to register the following details. No sensitive personal Data is requested. Optional and default information collected at registration is:

  • Your relationship to the child/children – parent, grandparent, teacher etc

What we do with the information we gather
For purposes of the General Data Protection Regulations 2018, GoMunkee Ltd is the ‘Data Controller’ and holds your Data until you remove your account or unsubscribe from our emails. Unless we are obliged or permitted by law to do so, and subject to any third party disclosures specifically set out in this policy, your Data will not be disclosed to third parties. This includes our affiliates and organisers of events and activities listing on GoMunkee.

GoMunkee collects aggregate user information. Any or all of the above Data may be required by GoMunkee from time to time in order to provide you with the best possible service and experience when using our Website. Specifically, Data may be used by GoMunkee to improve our service and inform you, by email of forthcoming events, activities and blog posts (provided you have given your consent). This user information helps us to sell sponsorships to advertisers, commercial partners and to monitor customer traffic pattern, such as the number of users to the website, pages and the length of visit. Aggregate Cookie and tracking information may be shared or sold to third parties. No sensitive personal or identifying Data will be included. GoMunkee may also use non-identifying Data for re-marketing, retargeting or profiling purposes including via third parties (including, but not limited to, social networking websites). Signing in via Facebook or Google – what information do we collect?
If you choose to sign in via Facebook or Google you grant us access to information held by those services. The information we have access to depends on the service and is explicitly stated when you first connect those services.
You may choose to sign in via Facebook. By doing so you grant us access to your email address, your profile and your Friends List. You may revoke access at any time via your Facebook account settings. We follow the guidelines set out by Facebook regarding Data collection and use as laid out here.

1.0      Understanding Our Obligations
GoMunkee has assessed and documented all processing activities conducted regularly, those exposing data to a high-risk and any sensitive personal data. Please see our Legal Basis Matrix. From this information a Privacy Notice has been written and made available to all Interested Parties via our website. To further demonstrate our commitment to the responsible management of information security, GoMunkee has registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, reference: ZA338003.
2.0      Data Subject Access Rights
GoMunkee acknowledges that any person may ask if any information is held containing their personal data. GoMunkee will respond to such requests as soon as possible, not taking any longer than 30 days to provide copies of any data held. The company shall correct any errors if requested, and agrees to delete records where this is permitted under the Legal Basis.

3.0      Review & Planning

3.1      Review of Matrix and Privacy Notice
Data Protection is a standing agenda item at the GoMunkee Management Review Meeting; this includes a review of the Legal Matrix and Privacy Notice for relevance and accuracy. The documents, and this procedure, shall be reviewed in full at least annually.
3.2      Planning of Changes
Data Protection and the management of information security will be considered as part of any significant business changes.

4.0      Security

All desktop PCs and laptops are encrypted and password protected. There is whitelist access, controlled by IP address verification to the cloud server. Personnel files are kept in a locked cabinet in a locked office, with limited key holders. Staff using mobile phones to access business information, including emails, are asked to add PIN or fingerprint security. All operating system, app updates and plugin updates are downloaded and updated. The whole system is backed up several times a day. Passwords are changed regularly and kept in a cloud security vault. In the event of a breach, such as break-in, loss or theft of a laptop or phone, all staff will be made aware. If there is a serious risk of personal data being misused, then the ICO shall be informed as soon as possible and the company shall take guidance from them.
